Knowsley has an opportunity to apply for significant funding for a major new arts programme to take place across Knowsley over the next 4 years.

Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places funding offers significant arts investment to the areas across England which have the lowest arts participation. One of the main aims of this funding is to enable communities to have a say in arts commissioning for their neighbourhoods.

A lot of data and information has already been gathered to support a Knowsley bid, but organisers really want to meet up with a range of community and cultural stakeholders. They want to hear your views, ideas and aspirations for this opportunity to help to shape the most powerful bid that will have most impact across Knowsley’s communities.

Arts Organisation Heart of Glass, together with a consortium of partners from Knowsley, would be delighted if you can join them to shape this exciting funding bid at a World Cafe Event on Thursday 21st February between 2 and 4pm at Kirkby Library, Norwich Way, Kirkby, Knowsley, L32 8XY.  Registering is COMPLETELY FREE.
