Knowsley Community Hub grow food with the community for the community so that you and others can take that food that has been grown for free. Our aim is to reduce food poverty, isolation & loneliness, to improve health and wellbeing as well as to educate and share our skills and knowledge as well as to learn from each other.
No experience is needed as this is a community project looking at supporting each other in the community and coming together.
We will be growing food at Huyton Resource Centre, up in Kirkby and out in public places for all to benefit from. Come along and help us to help your local community. Come and meet new people, make some new friends and have fun.
We can discus days and hours that suit you, so if you work but would still like to get involved we will still have hours to work around this.
No experience needed, we will support and learn from each other.
Refreshments will be provided
Gardening gloves and tools will be provided.
At the moment you will need to come equipped with suitable footwear and clothing.
