Racheal is an experienced leader, with expertise in not-for profit governance structures, regulation, strategy, business planning and socio-economic delivery models. Racheal has specialist knowledge of Social Value, with cross-sector experience and networks at a local, regional and national level. Racheal has a published commission from the Cabinet Office – Influencing Decision Makers and Commissioners. With academia in Social Sciences and professional qualifications in leadership Racheal is passionate about Knowsley communities and the power of collaboration, partnerships and meaningful engagement with stakeholders to create positive change.
Did you know: Racheal achieved her gliding wings before her driving licence!
Lindsey Martin: Operations Manager
Lindsey Martin Operations Manager for One Knowsley
Lindsey’s career encompasses both the public and voluntary sector with over 30 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, project and programme management. Employed initially by the Department of Trade and Industry which later became part of Government Office for the North West, Lindsey’s experience and expertise centred on the management of Government and European funded business support and training programmes. Lindsey brings the skills acquired to the work of One Knowsley.
Did You Know: Lindsey enjoys walking, reading, watching films and is a keen supporter of Everton FC.
Jane Houghton: Engagement and Insight Lead
Jane Houghton is the Engagement and Insight Lead for One Knowsley
Jane has 15 years’ experience of working for organisations with a social purpose; working collaboratively to maximise resources within diverse communities to develop innovative targeted projects and initiatives, led by the communities they served. Jane has worked on government funded regeneration projects in the West Midlands and St Helens and has received awards and recognition for her partnership and engagement work.
She has also volunteered for various charities over the years with a passion for narrowing the gap in health inequalities.
Did you know: Jane is partial to a bit of wild swimming when she gets the chance and spots a nice bit of open water!
Emma Rittenberg: Digital Marketing Lead
Emma Rittenberg is the Digital Marketing Lead for One Knowsley
A Media & Communication graduate, Emma has a high level of organisational and interpersonal skills. She has had several years’ experience in the Marketing industry and has volunteered for various charities based in the Liverpool City Region.
Did you know: Emma spends most of her weekends travelling to other cities or even to other countries!
Colette Thompson: Volunteer
Colette Thompson is a volunteer for One Knowsley
Colette was deeply involved with the Lost Castle project in August 2018 that was organised by Knowsley Council. She thoroughly enjoyed working with the community, so she decided to do more volunteering. Colette is married, a mum to three children and a full-time foster carer to two. She enjoys anything creative and loves party planning and fundraising.
Did you know: Colette enjoys floristry, cake decorating and painting & decorating! She considers herself to be a jack of all trades, master of none!
Joanne King is a volunteer for One Knowsley
Joanne has 16 years’ experience of Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector work. Her roles have always involved empowering the most marginalised people, communities and organisations to make positive changes and flourish. She has worked at all levels from front line to strategic. Her strong passion for for Social Justice and Equality underpins everything she does. Joanne is currently working towards her MBA at Liverpool John Moore’s University, with a focus on Socio-economics and designing solutions to remove disadvantage.
Did you know: Joanne loves to go to gigs and festivals and to travel, in particular to Ibiza which is her favorite place in the world, as she is a bit of a hippy at heart.
