Links to full person specifications and role descriptions for Development and Partnerships Lead and Digital and Marketing Lead can be found at the bottom of this post.
High caliber individuals of gravitas who are interested in joining the KCVS Trustee Board are invited in the first instance contact the Chief Operating Officer Racheal Jones to arrange an informal discussion with the Chair of the KCVS Board David Parr.
KCVS today evolved from Huyton with Roby Council for Social Service (HCSS) inaugurated in 1963 to provide support to local volunteers and establish local responses to local need. In 1974 the district authority of Knowsley was created. Today KCVS has evolved to become the independent body that works with and for the Social Sector in the Borough of Knowsley within the Liverpool City Region.
As the local infrastructure organisation (LIO) we act as a single point of contact and interface between the Social Sector, Public Sector and Private Sector. We identify, forge and build active cross sector strategic alliances. We create pathways to enable and enhance the activity of the Social Sector in the borough of Knowsley. Knowsley Better Together and our deal with the Public Sector is one example of our strategic work. We are Leaders enabling the Social Sector to be a strong and equal partner, shaping Knowsley the Place with People at its heart.
We provide the Sector with practical support and development products and services to build Social Value, stimulate connectivity, facilitate growth and strengthen the collective voice.
Demand and interest in our work continues to grow and we do hope you will join us in our growth journey.
